Get to Know Me

To my fellow Bereans—I call you this because, like the believers in Acts 17:11, we are here to test everything against the Word. I am not a teacher; I am your partner in the study.

The Foundation

Armor of Oak is a Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) research and learning ministry dedicated to the study of Biblical texts and global outreach. While I believe the Word of God provides profound wisdom for every facet of life, it is important to clarify the nature of this platform:

A Note on Our Fellowship: This ministry is designed for spiritual encouragement and informational study. While I serve as a minister of our God breathed Word, it is important to clarify that this platform is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or mental health counseling. We are here to gather around the Truth as peers and fellow students; I am simply a fellow traveler.

A "Learn Together" Ministry

I do not have all the answers, and I never will. I am simply an old student of the Word, learning as I go, just like you. The goal here is to follow the Word of God—not a pastor, a priest, or man-made traditions.

I am merely the one dedicated to the research and the gathering of resources so we can climb the mountain together. We follow the Word, not the man.

The Berean Standard

The Berean Jews were more “noble” or "fair-minded" than those in Thessalonica because they "received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." They are noted for their open-mindedness, daily study, and verification of teaching. They didn't just take Paul’s word for it; they actively searched the Scriptures (the Old Testament) to verify his claims about the Messiah. This is the heart of our "Learn Together" philosophy.

Our Berean Declaration

"I believe that this is the Word of God, divinely inspired and written just for me. I am firmly rooted in what it reveals. As I step into the light of new understanding, I ask You, Father, to open my eyes, clear my ears, and prepare me for every good work. I will grow in my walk with You, branch out where You direct, and help others blossom under the canopy of Your protection. Help me to resonate Your Almighty Truth and be a witness to Your power, for Your Glory alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
