Transparency-First
Armor of Oak exists to equip the weary with rooted truth. Every gift helps fuel the research, writing, and distribution of these messages to those seeking endurance in a restless world. When you give, you aren't just funding a page; you are becoming a co-laborer in a mission of written ministry.
I believe in the power of the written word—the slow, deep work of meditation that video cannot replicate. Your support ensures that this space remains a quiet sanctuary of text, free from the distractions of the modern "attention economy."
All gifts are used exclusively to support the outreach, production, and operation of Armor of Oak. I believe that the workman is worthy of his hire, but more importantly, I feel the Word belongs to the people. To ensure that every gift is handled with the highest integrity, a Stewardship Sequence is strictly followed. This ensures that the message is secured first, the community is served second, and the laborer is considered last.
The objective is to build immense donor trust through Transparency-First:
Priority 1: The Pulpit & The Parchment
Before a single mission is funded, we secure the "Digital Scriptorium." This ensures that every Sunday sermon and study tool remains online, accessible, and free of charge to anyone in the world.
-
The Goal: To secure a year of uninterrupted ministry.
-
What this covers: Digital tools, platform security, and the necessary infrastructure to host and protect these written works.
Priority 2: The Living Hope (Missions & Scholarships)
Subsequent gifts are funneled into the Missions & Scholarship Fund because I believe in showing the world—and specifically our youth—that "nothing is impossible with God."
Transformative Life Experiences are hands-on adventures to empower vulnerable youth to dream beyond their circumstances. By removing financial barriers, we ensure that children from under-resourced backgrounds can experience the thrill of God’s creations and discover their own potential—teaching them that they are "more than conquerors." We believe that no child should be defined by their past or their privation. Each experience is designed to turn "I can’t" into "I can"—proving that through faith, no dream is out of reach, because nothing is impossible with God!
Offered to kids in small groups to give each child a chance to participate, youth are shown how setting goals and following through can lead to achieving dreams while experiencing the tangible love of God in creation. An example would include providing a short sailing trip where a hands-on approach is highly recommended, not forced. The participants gain sailing skills, team skills, photography, and video skills, and see firsthand that God is working in their lives.
Responsive Outreach & Humanitarian Aid are specific projects helping those in need and sponsoring resources where needed. As resources allow, Armor of Oak stands ready to act as the hands and feet of the Word. I view our mission field as anywhere there is a need for restoration. The vision for future outreach includes:
-
Sustainable Infrastructure: Assisting with home repairs, school improvements, or clean water initiatives for families in need.
-
Compassionate Care: Supporting medical and dental relief for those in underserved areas.
-
Educational Empowerment: Offering literacy workshops, computer skills, and specialized community teaching.
-
Children & Youth Ministry: Providing financial support for youth who want to attend summer camps and supporting families in need of childcare.
-
Humanitarian Aid: Responding to crises with food, supplies, and rebuilding efforts in the wake of hardship.
-
Scholarships: Providing funding for vocational schools where youth receive hands-on training for skilled trades.
Note: These specific projects are funded as the "Living Hope" fund grows. We do not move into these works until the resources are fully provided, ensuring we never start a tower we cannot finish.
Priority 3: The Federal Sanctuary (Non-Profit Status)
You've probably noticed that this ministry is not a Federal Non-Profit 501(c)(3). That's because our finances do not allow it at this time and that's why we offer Complete Transparency. Because we are currently in this 'Transparency-First' phase, please note that contributions are not yet tax-deductible, though they are handled with the same rigor as a formal non-profit.
As the ministry grows, we are moving toward a formal Federal Non-Profit status. This is a significant legal undertaking that provides long-term protection for the ministry’s assets, copyrights, and charitable standing. Your gifts help us navigate the filing, insurance, and compliance costs necessary to protect this work for the next generation.
Priority 4: The Labor of Love
My time as a researcher and writer is the last thing to be funded. I consider this work a "labor of love." Only after our operational costs, missions, and legal protections are fully secured will your support help sustain the hours spent in study and research time. If support never reaches this stage, the research continues unfunded, fueled by faith alone.
